de Lisle String Ferrule Block

Our string block was born out of a desire to make construction more streamlined. After doing some research, we discovered that Leo Fender had already introduced a similar plastic block on certain G&L guitars. Ours is a little different from Leo's in that it is made from 6061 aluminum or brass. The block adds sustain and frequency response.

The prototype installed above has been redesigned for easier installation. Production units feature a .25" radius on both ends. This allows the slot in the back of the guitar to be cut using a .5" diameter router bit with a shank mounted guide bearing (not included).

Units measure 2.75" x .5" x .5". String spacing is 2.125".
